What Olympics Data do we cover?
The Olympics API will provide the below for the Summer Games 2020.
- Event schedule and updates
- Participant and discipline/sport start lists
- List of teams and updates
- Results
- Standings
- Final and federation rankings
- Medallists
The API is updated in real-time, with less than a two second latency between the data being output by the IOC and it appearing in our API. As official content is inputted directly at the event venue, we see the fastest updates and results in the official feed and so exposing the data in an API reduces any further latencies seen in alternative services.
